About the practice

A small practice, built on judgment and follow-through.

Jalal Advisory exists for owners who want senior thinking without the machinery of a large firm — and a billing model that puts the risk where it belongs: on us.

The why behind the practice.

Good advice is common. Advice paired with accountability is rare.

Jalal Advisory was founded on a simple frustration: too many advisory relationships collect fees for decks and hours rather than outcomes. Clients pay upfront, absorb the risk, and are left to chase value after the fact.

We built this practice to invert that. Scope is agreed in writing before work begins. Invoices follow delivery, not the other way around. If a milestone isn't reached, it isn't billed — and if a project can't be completed, any paid-but-undelivered work is refunded pro rata.

It's a model that only works if the advice is genuinely good. That's the point. It keeps us honest, keeps the work focused, and gives owners a partner whose incentives are pointed in the same direction as their own.

What we hold to

Principles that shape every engagement.

01

Clarity before commitment

No engagement starts without a shared, written understanding of scope, milestones, and what success looks like.

02

Earned invoices

We bill after work is delivered and approved. You never pay in advance for something not yet in your hands.

03

Revisions, not upsells

Reasonable refinement to reach the agreed outcome is part of the work — not a line item to negotiate.

04

Plain, direct counsel

You'll hear what we actually think, including when the honest answer is one you'd rather not receive.

Get in touch

If that's the kind of partner you're after, let's talk.

A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It's simply how we find out if the fit is right.
